Workers' compensation resource

Can a retailer or wholesaler request a quote before appointment?

The short answer

Under the approved FastechHR operating pathway, a retailer or wholesaler may submit a live account for review before completing separate contracting or appointment paperwork. If the account progresses toward binding, the required relationship and appointment steps must be completed before the applicable transaction.

Use this in practice

  • Submission is not appointment.
  • Review is not approval, eligibility, quotation, coverage, price, or binding.
  • Attribution remains attached even when another authorized participant joins.

What it means for you

Employer: Your selected agent relationship remains visible when authorized.

Retailer: Submit the account first so paperwork does not consume the opportunity window.

Wholesaler: Use the preserved chain and complete partner steps if the account advances.
